Xiaomi Redmi 7A launched:available starting 12 pm on 11 July via Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores

         The Redmi 7A brings an overall upgrade over the Redmi 6A—it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset clocked at 2GHz. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery and runs Android Pie 9 with MIUI 10 custom ROM running atop. As mentioned earlier, it comes with up to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 256GB via a microSD card.

A 12MP Sony IMX486 rear camera takes care of photography duties. There's also a 5MP front facing camera to click selfies.

The device comes with wireless FM Radio can allow access to radio without the need of earphones.

The Redmi 7A is lit by a 5.45-inch 18:9 HD+ LCD display.

It has dual SIM slots that allow dual VoLTE functionality.

In terms of design, the smartphone features a matte metal unibody. Xiaomi claims the smarpthone has splash-proof coating.

The Redmi 7A is available in Matte Black, Matte Blue and Matte Gold colour variants.

But to please Indian buyers, the Chinese company is offering a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 camera on the India variant of the Redmi 7A. The company is also offering two years of warranty specifically for Indian customers.
